Megaman Go! – An HTML5 game created when teaching Year 9 students Gamemaker.
I wanted to create a basic game that could easily be played on mobile devices (unfortunately at this stage it only works with a keyboard – return to start, up arrow to jump). I was explaining to students the importance of simplicity with a game and how you could use advertisements to generate an income from your game if you were to create it as an app. I wanted to create a basic runner type game, similar to flappy birds, but with old retro charm. I used sprites and background music ripped from Megaman games by Capcom (copyright to them). However sound fx were created using www.bfxr.net
